Hurrah, new bike arrived yesterday. A lovely road bike... Went for a test ride today, to make sure the seat height/angle bars etc are in the right place. Soooooo fast, even though I was wearing baggy shorts, a peaked helmet and didnt shave my legs. Lovely weather too...

Wel, well, well, I seem to be having luck this week. I've managed to sell ye olde worlde Orange P7. It was the 1st real mountain bike I ever bought, in 1994. Still a good looking bike but my project to reduce the number of bikes and buy a dedicated road bike means it has to go at long last. That bike has travelled the world. England, Portugal, Australia, Belgium and finally Spain. It interesting to compare it to my 2009 P7. It's a lot lighter, 100mm stem, rigid forks and rim brakes. ...
Well. I've finally sold my trusty Orange P7. I feel a little bit sad, that bike has been to the Alps, Pyrenees, Scotland, Wales, Everywhere in spain and never let me down. I've had it singlespeed, 3x9, 2x9, 1x9 and with an Alfine. It's had a 130mm fork, 140mm fork and finally a rigid fork. such a versatile bike. Just hope the new owner likes it. ...
