    Hi,

I am most likely going to spain next year as an exchange student, so i was wondering where the best place would be?

Mtb is a big part of my life, so it could be really cool if i could go to school near good trails. I mostly like flowy trails with jump and berms, but i love technical trails aswell. I will most likely bring a 160mm AM bike, so i can pedal uphill, but it would definitely be prefered if there were a lift or some local shuttles.

So far i've considered Malaga, were there should be a lot of downhill trails, Alicante (fenasosa bike park is nearby, right?), and close to the pyrenees (la molina).

It could be cool if it were near Barcelona aswell, but i haven't heard about any good trails there right?

    Otherwise i'm open for suggestions!

    Thanks in advance.

    Gracias!!

You must check Vigo, at the north west of Spain. Is a paradise for mtb, it was the place for the uci world cup DH few years ago and a lot of DH races. And you can go from the trails to the beach on your bike! Google " vigo world cup Dh" and check it out

How many are there in Alicante, and how well built are they? i'm aware of la fenasosa bike park, but that's more than a half hour away, and i will most likely not have time for that often.

Vigo is the city with more DH and enduro circuits in the metropolitan area and its surrounding villages .
There are over 20 trails within 10 km radius.

if you want to ride like a mad you must go to la cerdanya, or something near andorra, you will have la molina, vallnord, les angles, grandvalira, ax les thermes... near you + the local tracks, so this means a lot of tracks, with lift. absolutely the best place for ride.
you can have this in about 15 minutes driving
