In what SOFTWARE can they be used/viewed on the COMPUTER (Windows, Mac)? Can they be used in mobile GPS devices? Which ones? info@editorialalpina.com does not respond to any question. :-(

No, it isn't that. As I wrote in the first message, it's a digital map from Mallorca from the EDITORIAL ALPINA. Unfortunately ForoMTB.com does not let me publish the internet-link here: www(dot)editorialalpina(dot)com/es/producto/mallorca-serra-de-tramuntana-alpinadigital/ Just google for Editorial Alpina and digital maps and Mallorca and you will find it. It is a computer CD with 10 digital maps. The editor does not tell on his website in which file format the maps are. If it's CompeGPS own file format RMAP (or RTMAP) the user of the CD will probably need to install the software (CompeGPS Land) on his computer to view the maps. I do only need confirmation of someone who has bought this or a similar map CD from Editorial Alpina (who are located in Barcelona as company) in what file format the CD comes and if it can be viewed without/with the Compe software only. On the webshop of TwoNav there is a similar map from Editorial Alpina for download only. That is probably in RMAP file format. No info about compatibility on computers, GPS devices, software... Hi, Alpina Maps in the website are exclusive Compegps format (rmap). They are raster maps not vectorial maps. You will need "TwoNav Land" software (CompegpsLand). There are Windows anda Mac versions. Rmap format = PC format = TwoNav Land software Rtmap = GPS format = Twonav GPS For use Alpina Maps in Twonav GPS, you need to convert from Rmap to Rtmap using Land software. It's very easy. I think you could convert to Garmin format (JNX) using globalmapper app. First you need to convert Rmap to ECW format with Land and then open the ECW files with Globalmapper app and export to JNX format. So you can see Alpina Maps in Garmin GPS and BaseCamp. Remember you need to have a BirdEye subscription or "cracking soft" to view JNX on Garmin GPS. Hi, thank you for the info. In the past I never had a problem using RMAP file format on a TwoNav Sportiva. So never converted maps to RTMAP before. But my question was concerning the maps on CD, which are sold by Alpina Webshop (editorialalpina.com/es/producto/mallorca-serra-de-tramuntana-alpinadigital/ ). Do you think they are the same file format? Unfortunately Alpina does not answer on my mails in english...
