Querido, si me leyeras (¿por qué nadie me hace caso?), habrías observado que cada vez que sale el tema, digo siempre: "gracias a Nacho por este contacto" o "nunca agradeceremos lo bastante a Ibis traer al Tío Roger a nuestras vidas" y comidas de ciris por el estilo :mrgreen:. Son las bielas que montaba Roger en su Zaskar, y, como ya le dije, eso es un gran valor añadido para mí; me pasa con todas las cosas de segunda mano, siempre las valoro también por quién las tuvo antes y me las vendió/regaló. El GT me gusta más porque viene de Shidar. Mi herramienta favorita es el cortacables de Shimano , porque fue un regalo tuyo...etc. Dicho esto, una vez comprobados los hologramas que hice ayer, he de decir que soy el peor fotógrafo de detalles del foro. Intentaré de nuevo fotos con luz natural. La prueba del delito: El cassette, que hace mucho que llegó a mis manos: Cuando los instale y use, nuevas fotos y comentarios. Sí, gracias Alexis, necesito mejorar, son las únicas de todas las que hice que se pueden ver algo nítidas...:ups Comentar también que ya pude apreciar, aparte de los acabados sin fallo, espectaculares, una de las cualidades del "ceramic coating": no dejaba huellas de dedos, como en otras piezas de metal.
Monty, The photo's do my XT cranks no injustice in comparison to your words of your appreciation of my work. I hope you get many fine rides with this set of cranks. They are in a much better place on your bike propelling you forward than on my wall hanging still and useless. I've enjoyed dressing them up in a new coat and sending them off to see Spain in a new life. Enjoy my friend. Also I too appreciate the friendship of Nacho Lobo who has given me many contacts of interest. I have your Aerozines. I used them last night for a post in mtbr SS. There was a question of what were the best SS cranks. A couple post placed XTR SS on scales to show how light they were......541g....545g, so I went to the shop and took the rings off your AeroZ's and placed a Mattias 32T ti ring in their place then posted a 506g SS just to screw with them. 506g if light for a non-carbon crank-set. I think they will be sub-700 as a 3 gear with the Wick Werks rings and lite BB. Have you heard anything about the Wick Werks that I mounted on the XT set yet. If not check and see what he thinks. I want to be sure of satisfaction in performance.

De hecho, yo he considerado seriamente hacerlo con el Lightning...bueno, confieso que me ha gustado tanto el acabado que lo llevaría hasta en la montura de las gafas...:mrgreen:

Hola, me he leído todo el tema y las ganancias de ceramizar transmisiones me parecen muy interesantes. Pero puestos a ceramizar, y que conste que ya se que lo mismo mi propuesta es una chorrada, pero bueno lo voy a soltar. Se hablaba de aplicar la "ceramización" a unos aros, bien. Vamos más allá. Sería posible "ceramizar" un rodamiento de bolas. Es decir, "ceramizar" las bolas, los conos y las pistas????? Aparentemente así podríamos lograr un rodamiento muy duradero y muy efectivo porque se podrían usar lubricantes mucho menos densos y en menor cantidad. Lo mismo los rodamientos con partes cerámicas comerciales son más rentables que llevar a cabo toda esta empresa pero bueno es algo que se me ha ocurrido al leeros. Saludos.
