Assistant Telephone Sales - Sales Department
Madrid, Spain

Job Description:
In order to strengthen our Sales department, we would like to hear from candidates interested in a new opening of Telephone Sales Assistant.

The successful candidate will be taking a key role as a part of a driven sales team, maintaining telephone contact with global customers of ROTOR bike components.
You will receive all incoming phone calls and redirect them to the appropriate contact persons, as well as recording and monitoring customer orders and supplying customers with up-to-date product-, price- and order information. You will supply sales representatives and management with relevant information and actively manage back-orders. This job will be performed from our sales office in Madrid, Spain.

Requirements:
• A degree in Secondary Education and at least two years of experience in a similar commercial job.
• Affinity with and knowledge of the bicycle industry is required.
• Flexible and accurate in your work, you handle stress well and are capable of working independently.
• A positive, “can-do”, commercial and customer oriented attitude, your goal is to keep our customers happy, well supplied and well informed.
• Excellent communication skills, especially verbally - specifically via the telephone.
• Good knowledge of English and Spanish, both verbally and written.
• Additional linguistic skills will give any applicant a significant advantage
• Some experience with automated order processing.
• Knowledge of Word and Excel is a considered a plus.

TECHNICAL ENGINEER (RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT)
Madrid, Spain

Job Description:

In order to strengthen our R&D department, we would like to hear from candidates interested in a new opening of Technical Engineer. The successful candidate will be taking a key role as a part of our engineering team, supporting and maintaining engineering documents, procedures and projects management.

• Project Management – Helping with the development of new products to ensure they are developed on time and achieve the Quality Targets.
• New Product Research and Development – Assisting Planning, design, prototyping and development of new products.
• Participate in Innovate Project Team Projects - Execute basic R&D projects and focus on main research area.

Pre-requisites:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Preferably 2 years working experience in R&D, however fresh graduates with good academic results are welcomed to apply.
• Knowledge of Materials and Process Engineering.
• Proficient in CAD / CAE, Finite Element Analysis using IDEAS system.
• Good knowledge of transmission mechanisms.
• Must be highly innovative and creative
• Passion in cycling will be added advantage

OFFICE SALES COORDINATIOR.
Madrid, Spain

We're looking for an organized, internationally adept and analytical person to help coordinate the daily ins and outs of the ROTOR commercial office in Madrid. The goal is to improve customer service speed, quality and professionalism. The applicant should be capable of navigating the quirky cycling commercial world and have a “can do” attitude in all tasks.

Key tasks, characteristics and abilities:

• At least 3 years work experience in management in the bike industry, or a similar background
• Previous experience form a quickly growing company will be considered advantageous for any applicant.
• A team player and leader, willing and able to coordinate a constantly growing office sales and marketing team, who can delegate tasks and complete high quality jobs on time
• An effective communicator, to both internal and external entities
• Ability to use Microsoft Office as an efficient tool (especially excel), and develop own tools to carry out repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately
• Self-Educating attitude: when a task asks for a skill set you do not have, identify the knowledge you are missing and acquire it by any means possible
• Linguistic skills are a must: Fluent English along with another primary European or Asian language is a must, as well as a willingness to proactively expand linguistic skills. (Rotor will provide basic Spanish training)
• A personal drive to excellence will be a driving factor in success

Key functions:

• Coordinate office work and maintain work efficiency
• Tracking orders and performance, carrying out monthly analysis of each customers’ purchasing to give them useful feedback as well as comparative feedback compared to other countries
• Support of Sales and Marketing director when at the office and away.
• Monthly reporting to Sales and marketing director on attainment of goals
• Frequent telephone contact with global distribution partners
• Be capable of managing and solving conflicT situations, both between staff and with customers.

This office sale coordinator will report to the sales and marketing director, and the general subdirector. Some travel will be involved in this position, for example, to the primary trade shows and individual visits to distribution customers as required.

Basically this person keeps the office running smoothly, making the team work as a team and keeping the customers happy.

La descripción de los puestos está en inglés porque los puestos requieren un nivel alto del mismo. Debido a nuestra red internacional y a que 2 de nuestros compañero son extranjeros, el 90% de la comunicación es en inglés.

Me echa para atrás el nivel tan alto de ingés, pues yo sólo me defiendo bien, y que estoy terminando estudios. pero parecen buenas ofertas, a ver si alguien por aqui es capaz y le viene bien, sería un éxito. Y trabajar con componentes de bicicleta estupendo para los que amammos el ciclismo.
