Hi, I am picking up a mountain bike soon and am keen to get out into the mountains wherever they are. I am wondering if anyone has any info of groups or clubs that go mountainbiking in madrid. the thing is I am not exactly at club fitness so Im looking for a introduction to the scene. also my spanish is pretty basic. I used to cycle a lot but alas that was nearly ten years ago so im rusty to say the least. any feedback on groups or ideas much appreciated. thanks

Hello, you can find information in the subforo rutas y quedadas-zona centro. There are several groups riding Madrid and different levels. The ones I know are "salidas pitufas", wich are a quiet group and rutas tranquilas "a little more level". I tend to ride every week, wether with MTB or road bike.
