Hi everyone, Haven't really been on here much just been browsing. I am looking to post an ad in the classifieds as I am wanting to get a few bikes and more on a regular basis for a little venture of mine. How many posts do i need to put an advert up? Can anyone help me regarding regular stock of quality mountain bikes, Makes such as Lapierre, Santa Cruz, Orange, Yeti etc. Thanks
Hi Jack! Last I heard you need 50 posts before you can put an advert up. Don't know much about getting stocks of bikes tho. In any case, good luck and let us know about your little venture.
For stock of bike, I guess you have to contact the distributors. Eg, for Orange .... http://orange.rsvdisenny.com/ As for posting an ad, one or two businesses seem to have their own sub-forum, I think if you talk to the forum owners, they could set you up. (I assume for a fee)

Yes I know about getting stock as I run my own bikes shop and get Santa Cruz, Cannondale, Giant, Morewood, Trek, Fox and a few more straight from the manufacturer, I work from home so have no overheads meaning I can beat any high street price and usually save my customers hundreds of £ on new bikes! I am basically looking to get a load of good used stock, I know the market is cheaper in Spain as I lived there for a year (Moved back in August). Looking to get a few bikes from over hear sent to the UK. Basically take the stress away from selling in the classifieds. I will keep an eye out. Thanks again
Cheaper in Spain? Are you sure? I find the prices people want for second hand things is crazy. I find it cheaper to buy from the UK and have it shipped over.

In some way I understand if you have to have posts to be able to SELL stuff, but buying is another thing I think. Im not here to sell and exploit the forum. Just want to buy one more bike
