    Hi fellow foreros!

This summer I'm planning on making several trips from Barcelona up the bike parks of the Pyrenees/Pre-pyrenees (La Molina/Andorra/Les Angles) etc. I'm a British guy living just outside Barcelona, and it would be great to meet up with other local/expat bikers interested in doing the same, share petrol/tolls etc. I have a small van that can carry 4 people and bikes.

Hablo castellano / parlo català / falo Português / je parle français - but I like speaking/learning any language :)

Leave a reply here or PM or email alun AT alunthomasevans.co.uk

    Look forward to meeting you!

    Hi Alun,

Nice to meet you here, would be interested in hearing more of your plans and schedule. I could be into that! I would be coming from the otherside of Spain, North West so not much help with the sharing but I was thinking about riding there sometime.

I would like to ride in the Basque areas especially with the guy's from http://www.basquemtb.com they know some amazing trails along the Basque coast I would love to ride with them sometime and will. Check them out, some great riding!

Hi Kanza - that would be a long trip from Galicia to Catalunya! I'm sure I'll post again here before I make my first trip, though.

The Basque country is a bit far for me (it's a 6 hour drive, and it's only 8 hours to for me to get to the Alps from Barcelona!) - but thanks for the link, it looks great!

    Hi Alun,

It is yes quite a way, but my Mum lives in Central France, so we travel that way a few times a year so do drop a note when your planning a trip!

Hello Alun, I'm Josep from Barcelona and my english is bad. I'm interested in trails across Pirineus for this summer (23 july to 20 august) but i don't konw what is your level. My standart track is over 60-70 km and 1600-2000+ but not fast speed, perhaps you are so young (my age: 55).
My main target is "La Transpirenaica" (Mediterranean to Atlantic) 968 km and 22.700+ in 16 days (I have all these tracks on gps) and also I like some Transalp like Chamonix to Zermatt, this is my dream. I have my mind open to other proposals. I'm catalan and I know my country for many possible trails. At present I'm beginning also on road bike but I prefer the mountain bike. if you have any idea, write-me.
    Salut i força.
    Josep
P.D. I have holidays for next week (1 to 7 july) and I do some trails.

Hi Josep. My ass you´re just a beginner. At 55 and thinking of routes such as Transpirenaica, the Camino de Santiago or Chamonix-Zermatt makes you a real biker !. How long have you been into cycling?.

Hi Josep - the Transpirenaica looks amazing! I tend to leave the long distance rides to my road-bike though, and only use my mountain bike for the bike-parks!
