Hello, I dont speak spanish so if someone know english please explain me something. In my country license is only need in country championships and as I see on the Andalucia Federacion main site it is obligatory to have license to start even in local xc races. So my question is, are there any races in which I can start without license? (btw. my category is sub-23). I live in Seville and I want to race in local races (marathon or xc) over Andalucia but I dont know if I need license or where to register on this races, If someone can help me I would be very aprreciated
at least in Catalonia, you only can start without license in "marchas", where you can take a license for a day paying an additional quantity in the inscription (5 euros aproximately). If you want to participate in any federated race you need the license
In most of the XC races in Spain yoiu need license, there are a little few local races which you don´t need license to race in, but they are less published than federated races. I hope had help you. If you need more info, don´t hesitate to ask!
yo lhe entendido perfectamente la pregunta, ademas con el traductor de google no hay problema. Por favor que alguien se lo explique en ingles. O que lo traduzca con el google, como he hecho yo. ACtualmente en Andalucia y concretamente en SEvilla, no tiene ningún problema en participar sin licencia. YA que en casi todas puede partcicpar con la licencia de un día. El unico incoveniente es que es algo más caro. Concreteamente el magnifico provincial de rally que se celebra en Sevilla, desde noviembre a marzo, es sin licencia, solo te exijen el D.N.I. En el resto de competiones el problema por no tener licencia es que no optas a las clasificaciones ya que son carreras federadas pero si que puedes partcipar. Un saludo

You need the medical examination, 2 photos, and the papers sealed by a cycling club, and of course the money hehehe Do you have Spanish nationality? If now you can't make by internet. 4 .- The applications for riders without Spanish nationality shall be processed exclusively through the relevant Provincial Office. No applications will be accepted via the Internet in such a case.
;o.. I am a little bit suprised.. well, are there any races ( I mean especialy marathons - becouse of many poeple they gather but I would prefer xc races) which can I start without license? If someone can check it for me, make for me a small list ( especialy races in Andalucia) I would be VERY thankful, becouse without ability to speak spanish it is really hard for me to search any information.

well, I am here for 2 months right now and I dont understand it very well I dont have good memory especialy for learning languages. So my question is open and I would be very thankful for answer. Also I've heard that there is possibility to have 1 - day license for 10 euros but I dont know what are requirements to get it, are they the same as for normal license (I mean medical examinations etc.) ?
Hi, wlosi. As you know there are 2 ways to racing. Be federated (with license) or not (without). All of them are organizated by a local cycling club. The federated rancings, normally (XC and Marathon) are including in Open championship, with his race calendar approved by the federation at the beginning of the year. Here we have 3 levels. National (Spain), Autonomic (Andalucía) and Provincial (Sevilla). In some of them you can run with one day license and in some of them not, it depends from the organization of the open. The informations about this open are in the website of the appropiate federation. There are other federated races not included in Open championship in which you can run too, and normally ofers run with one day license. Here we have "marchas", marathons and others. They are not organizated in a calendar, each club make his race when he want. The information about this kind of federated races sometimes is in the federation website and sometimes not. You will have to look for in internet or here in foromtb.com, haha. In federated races you can find 2 registration prices. 25€ for not federated and 10€ for federated (for example). This differece is the one day license. On the other hand we have a lot of not federated races which normally ofers you an accident insurance with your registration. Be sure about this before running. Someone has told you what you need to be federated. A medical examination (30/35€, 2 photos, the stamp of a club in an application saying you are member of the club and pay the tax license (40-50€. All aplications and documents are in the website of the federation. The one day license is only for the race. The other is for all the year and ofers you so much coverage and insurance (training accident for example). In spite of you don´t speak spanish so well I recomended you the second option. Hi again wlosi. The question is not if you need license on maraton, i mean, the question if the maraton need license to be run and if the maraton offers you the one day license. If not, you can´t participe at least you have license. You ask for maraton series. I think the most similiar is the Maraton championship and as I told you before, there are different levels, national and autonomic. I speak of championship, don´t forget. I´ve forgot to speak about some races which are promoted by a company. In many times they offers you participate with the one day license included in your registration. This maratons are massive events with riders of all levels. The number of rider could be 3000 (in the quebrantahuesos the limit is 8000 but this on road), or the limit set by the organization, 600, 1000, 1500. In many times offer an alternative route too.
