Aki Tunin: ¡Ya rulo con Rohloff!

Yo es que incluso en la rígida, un melvin con el muelle tenso y a correr. Para que no se salga del plato tengo un invento por ahí bocetado con 2 planchitas de carbono y un poquito de aluminio mecanizado extraordinario! .

Y si ya es doble no queda más remedio. Eso si, sin tensor queda más limpio pero con el tensor es más sencillo .

El nexus tiene la entrada de cable por el otro lado del buje, igual que el i-motion. El rohloff lo lleva a ese lado, pero dos cables. ¿Eso que es, sturmey-archer, tal vez?

Ése Nexus tiene el cable por donde lo tiene que levar (el lado de la transmisión, le llega desde arriba a la cajita negra). El cable del otro lado es el del freno de rodillo-tambor.
No parece, por cierto, un Nexus...

 

Cierto, tienes razón en lo del cable. Pero desde luego que no parece un nexus.

Espero que me disculparéis si hoy no hago ninguna aportación sobre el Rohloff, pero es que he puesto a la venta un cuadro específico para Rohloff y si alguien me hace una oferta realista también vendería la bici entera con el buje mágico. Sé que aquí el anuncio tendrá más repercusión. Perdonad por esta intromisión.

Bueno parece ser que despues de mucho tiempo Shimano comienza la batalla contra ROhloff. y parece ser que de forma un pelín timida pero bastate efectiva sobre el papel!!!

Ya veremos si esto por fin es la salida al mercado de un puñetero Rohloff especifico para xc y bien ligerito...

Os dejo unas fotillos del invento y el texto que he encontrado por ahí!!! Está claro que es españa no se encuentra nada, no hay absolutamente ninguna información en ningún foro de habla española!!! somos los más desactualizados del mundo....

Resumen del nuevo buje:

11 velocidades, se acerca al número perfecto para mi que serían 12.
Rango 409 % casi, casi con 500 se puede ir a cualquier parte...
Para uso turistico... amosnomejodas que seguimos con esa etiquetilla. para cuando uno de XC?????
A la venta en septiembre del 2.010.
300 € no está nada mal de precio!!!
Peso 1.600 gr. En esto si que ganan por goleada sobre todo teniendo en cuenta la cantidad de accesorios que luego lleva el Rohloff
Y el cierre rápido, para cuando???


Resumiendo sigue sin hacer frente cara a cara al rohloff con lo de etiquetilla esa de Tourist!!!
Esperemos que los señores de Rohloff del un golpe definitivo y saquen el modelo XC, que si supondría un verdadero avance!!!

Shimano is currently on Tour in Europe meeting their OE customers for the new product presentation (NPP). Among the 2011 products, the component maker announced the next step in internal hub gear technology. One of the remarkable new components is the Alfine 11-speed internal hub gear.

The new 11-speed internally geared hub technology is part of the Alfine group positioned for sport use. This hub gear will offer three more gears, at a lighter weight than the current 8-speed version. Upgrading this group will further encourage the use of internal hub gear bicycles in the sports market.

Besides more gears and smaller steps in between the gears, the new Alfine SG-S700 offers also a wider gear ratio of 409%. The 8-speed version has a gear ratio of 306%. According to Shimano this internal gear hub has less rolling resistance

The new Alfine Rapidfire Plus shifters SL-S700, available in silver feature the same technologies and operate in the same way as Shimano’s high-end MTB shifters. The new hub as well as the shifters can be used in combination with the current Alfine components and will be available by September this year.

The Shimano option is certainly less expensive. With an expected retail price of just $419 U.S. or about €300, it costs a fraction of the Rohloff and will be infinitely more accessible to cycle tourists who love the convenience of internal hub gearing but aren’t prepared to spend thousands of dollars on a top-notch expedition touring bike.

The Shimano Alfine also has a weight advantage, at 1,600 grams versus 1,847 grams for the Rohloff.

And while the Shimano doesn’t have quite the gear range that Rohloff does, at 11 speeds to Rohloff’s 14 speeds, or a ratio of 409% compared with 526% for the Rohloff, it’s getting close. Some cyclists may be more than willing to compromise.

If you’re wondering what those numbers mean, a 409% gear ratio means the highest gear is 4.09 times greater than the lowest gear. The increments between the gears are 17% in 2 cases and 13% for the remaining 8.

The first models of the new 11 speed Shimano Alfine are due out in September 2010.

Ya te digo, para endurear y saltar no se yo que tal. Endurear imagino que bien, que alguno de aquí ya ha bruteado algo no? pero no se yo que tal para brutear a tope. Rodolfo sabemos que bien pero este...

 

Gracias victor955i, muy interesante esta información, si hay competencia la tecnología avanza y esto es bueno para nosotros. Esperemos que Rohloff también de un salto hacia adelante si no quiere que Shimano lo aplaste como una mosca dentro de pocos años.

 

Bajo mi punto de vista a Shimano le queda mucho camino por recorrer hasta llegar al nivel de Rohloff... sobre todo mientras a sus productos los siga denominando "Tourist" con lo que demuestra que Shiimano no tiene ninguna intención de migrar este tipo de tecnología al MTB, sobre todo si tenemos en cuenta lo lucrativo que resulta el comercio de repuestos en montaña. Es mi punto de vista.
