Hello Kona Nut From England! Well, you're in the right place if you don't speak Spanish. In any case, I imagine you're living in Spain at the moment. So where do you live? What are you doing in these parts? Where do you go riding? Have you got a Kona bike?

There are some good places to go riding around here. I live in Madrid and today I went to La Casa de Campo and then to El Pardo. Actually they're pretty spectacular places and you can ride your bike there, or get there by the Tube, really nice.

You have all those bikes!? And that's just Kona-wise. So how many bikes have you got in all?

There are loads of great places to go riding in Spain, but really I'm just familiar with some of them in the Madrid area. There's probably a lot of info on the Internet, but I'm not sure where to steer you off the top of my head. Do you know where in Spain you might go?

Pretty much every part of Spain has good mountain biking. Do you want to go with a holiday company? Do you want to be based in one place or travel around? Up North? Down South? Near an airport? By the beach? etc etc

    I've got a 1996 Orange P7 - I've got a 2010 model too, my 2002 P7 was stolen - I like P7s.

As for Barcelona, dont really know the riding round there persoanlly but my ride guide recommends Monceny national park near there.

I live in the Basque country and there's lots of good riding here, have a look at my friends business ... www.basquemtb.com

    Of course we are.

Feel free to send whatever you want. I personally admire those who are able to build their own bikes.
There is such a passion and knowledge in doing that, that I´m sure we all are looking forward to seeing every little piece of your bike right now!.

Have a warm welcome to the forum.

Wow! Changed a lot from black to White… She´s just a real Knockout! That bike is asking for it!, yeah! Deserves to be ridden in Spain!

I really like them, I now Know why you´r nuts about Konas. If only I had the expertise and patience to do something like that…

Devon background I presume. Very artistic bikes and pics. You have done a fantastic job. Congrats on the outcome!

One more thing… this is a pretty hidden section of the forum (just for foreign people) . Its amazing how many daily visits the Spanish section has (actually is a Spanish forum), your pics in here will be seen more than answered. So be patient! In this thread answers come slowly!

But I bet everyone who see your bikes will love them! ;-)

Wow, very impressive bikes. You definitely live up to your name. I have a classic bike, tho not half as cool as yours are. Mine's a Diamondback Override that I got back in about 1992.

But your Sex One (this somehow sounds unedifying) is a thing of beauty and I'd be reluctant to really thrash it in the rough stuff like rocky terrains where you get stones flying about and scratching everything.

And your Hei Hei is classy too. Almost looks like a single speed but I see it has two chainrings.

If I had more time and money (and space) I think I could get into buying and fixing up classic bikes like yours. As things stand tho I'm just going to be grateful for what I've got, which is more than I expected

A roadbike → Scattante CFR Race
XC mountain bike → Conor Pro Tora
    Dirt bike → Comenzal Absolut
My faithful hybrid → Daimondback Override

Maybe one day I'll pick up a fifth bike, a full suspension, tho don't where I'd put it, and my wife and I may have words about it
    :boxing

    Cheers!

I had some trouble uploading these pics because I suppose they were too "heavy", so I did the best I could. You can click on them and see them better.

    Cheers!

Well, my impression is that it's not big in Spain, but there are people into it. In fact there's a sub-forum here called "Classic Bikes", tho in Spanish, "Bicis Clásicas". I know you're not a Spanish speaker, but if you want to look through it (and you haven't yet) it's here.
